Maintenance Department

Key responsibilities:

• Provides preventive and corrective maintenance to the hotel infrastructure
• Inspecting buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repairs making notes and suggestions using a pre-established check list
• Performing painting, carpentry and masonry work (preparing surfaces, painting, wall and tile repair...)
• Fill nail holes, cracks and joints with putty filler or similar
• Tape, float and texture walls and ceilings
• Paint surfaces using brushes, spray gun or paint rollers and apply paint with cloth, brush, sponge to create special effects
• Stain, seal and varnish wood surfaces
• Erect scaffolding or set up ladder to perform tasks above 2m of height
• Inspecting jobs upon completion and ensuring that areas are clean
• Store, handle and dispose of paint, stain, varnish and other chemicals according to established procedures
• Following established safety procedures
• Other maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school
• Valid Driver Licence - B Category
  
• Full working professional proficiency in Montenegrin
  
• Basic in English - verbal and written
  
• Previous maintenance experience in a hotel is an advantage
  
• Excellent painting skills and ability to produce desired colour mixtures
  
• Good communication and organizational skills
  
• Highly responsible & reliable
  
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
  
• Ability to use common tools and miscellaneous office equipment
