HVACR Technician

Maintenance Department

Role Purpose:

• Provide preventive and corrective maintenance to the hotel infrastructure, with focus to HVACR equipment and systems
• Responsible for performing routine hotel maintenance tasks in one or fields, perform general cleaning, perform other tasks as assigned

Key responsibilities:

• Inspecting Heating, Ventilation and A/C units to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repairs making notes and recommendations using a pre-established check list
• Perform maintenance tasks to include but not to be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures and equipment (e.g. incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, kitchen equipment, HVAC equipment etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools
• Ordering equipment supplies, repair module and sundries for the order
• Installing climate control systems, refrigeration units and beverage equipment
• Observing and testing newly installed systems
• Troubleshooting refrigeration equipment failures
• Maintaining stock level and inform supervisors
• Identifying maintenance risk on equipment
• Cleans workshop area
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment, and ensure it is in good working condition
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Traits:

• High School or higher education (Technical vocation preferred)
• Valid driver licence for B category
• Full working proficiency in Montenegrin and English (verbal and written)
• Advanced understanding of electrical and HVACR equipment and systems
• Experience in facility and/or hotel maintenance is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards
• Ability to use common household and maintenance tools
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to take initiative and quick action to resolve emergency field maintenance requests
