Welding Engineer (f/m)

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Responsible for general tasks within your area
• Integration of ISO 3834 and EN 1090 certificates
• Implementation of certification of welding procedures (proceeding) and working rehearsals (samples)
• Leading complete documentation/preparation of welding documentation for production (participation in prescribing welding technology) and advising
• Supervision of welding works in the workshop
• Planning welding activities and welding control at suppliers
• Coordination of control and work activities in production
• Checking of the validity of the certificates/procedures
• Monitoring of realization
• Analysis and workmanship of welding reports
• Support lead engineers with technical input
• Assist the staff organization during tender work when needed
• Adhere to governing documents and regulations for company
• Able to travel outside of the country for consultation and training
• Proficient English in writing and speaking, Norwegian is advantage
• Responsible for compliance to regulations for health, environment and safety

Qualifications & personal attributes:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering Discipline
• Passed exam for IWE / EWE
• Independent with good communication skills
• Team-player and solution oriented
• Driver's licence B category
