SEO Executive (m/f)

Job brief

Green River Media is looking for an SEO Executive for permanent employment at our Sarajevo office. We are seeking an individual with knowledge in Search Engine Optimisation & Content Writing, who can learn new techniques quickly and manage multiple, diverse technologies.

Responsibilities

• Researching the competitive landscape for various industries and verticals
• Working in an international SEO team to pull appropriate data and metrics to support the auditing and strategy development process
• Research content across multiple verticals and contribute to ideation and brainstorming sessions
• Creating consistent top quality, original content for blogs & web content
• Follow creative briefs which deliver content that supports the client audience and business objectives
• Understand how SEO works with other digital channels and disciplines like UX, CRO, Content Management & Web Development
• Content auditing to include crawling, duplication and organisation of content for SEO benefits
• Leveraging Social Media for engagement
• Perform competitive analysis to help drive future Search Engine Strategies
• Maintain responsibilities across multiple projects within the delivery timeframe & budget
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Requirements

• Ideally possess creative/digital agency experience or experience ofworking in a creative content role
• Experience in brand storytelling, journalism and editorial (B2B and B2C) is highly beneficial
• Demonstrated knowledge of the digital landscape and particularly social channel trends
• Clear hands-on and solution-oriented experience whilst maintaining a positive can-do attitude
• Experience in Microsoft Office and other relevant content creation/management tools
• Experience in Content Management Systems is highly beneficial
• Bachelor level degree or higher in English is highly beneficial
• Must have a basic understanding of Google Analytics
• Understanding essential concepts of SEO, while maintaining SEO best development practices
• The ability to create reports; understand ROI and select relevant data for analysing future actions

• Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
• Ability to work and thrive in an internationally fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and SEO techniques
• Organised, meticulous about keeping promises, meeting deadlines, with excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be willing to travel internationally as and when required
• Must be fluent in English
