Quantity surveyor Assistant (m/f)

Summary: 

The quantity surveyor assistant is responsible for making quantity calculation, cost analysis, subcontractor management, payment certificates application, variation proposal and claims request.

Reports to: Contract Manager

Responsibilities

• Accroding the construction progress, estimate the actual quantities, preparing a statement to the engineer, together with supporting document, and responsible for the whole process of getting interim payment certificate. Preparing, analysing and reporting monthly payment reports
• Submit the proposal for variations and adjustments，together with supporting document
• Work directly with subcontractor to resolve issues related to project controls and field execution.Checking subcontract orders and payments
• Prepare reports and presentations associated with the above requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Working experience of quantity surveyor in highway project is preferred.
• Be competent in performing quantity audits in field and performing quantity take-offs from engineering drawings
• Familiar with the method of measurement and payment procedure of the highway construction project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
• Familiar with the marketing price of labor salary, material, equipment.
• Proficiency in computer, MS Office and AutoCAD, familiar with the daily maintenance and operation of office equipment
• Strong communication and written skills and well English speaking
• Attitude to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Obedience to overtime is preferred.
