Social protection law expert (M/F)

Position Title:

• Social protection law expert (M/F) 

Type of Contract:

• Employment agreement - contract for definite period of time (full time)

Starting Date:

• To be confirmed during interview

Key tasks:

• Support for the development of social services law and related standards, capacity building and advice on social protection law

Responsible for:

• Providing support for implementation of project activities and coordination with relevant stakeholders (Relevant ministries, Center for social welfare and relevant NGO)
• Ensuring of information sharing and liaison on technical and organizational level between SOS CV BiH and Relevant ministries, and other stakeholders on cantonal and local level
• Coordination and providing full technical support in organization of workshops for evaluation and mapping of service providers and for development of standards for social services, support expert in analysing and mapping of existing social services
• Providing technical support to the working group for preparation and submission of Social services Law to the Government of FBiH
• Developing quarterly work plans as relevant to the implementation of the project activities
• Preparing quarterly reports in coordination with Project team
• Organization of round tables and public debates in coordination with other stakeholders
• Development of standards for social services
• Capacity building of professionals in Social service standards
• Liaison and regularly sharing of information with relevant representatives from federal and cantonal ministries for social policy
• Preparation of all the deliverables in local and English language

Must criteria:

• University degree in law
• Experience in cooperation with entity and cantonal ministries and other governmental institutions
• Good knowledge of legal framework, standards and methodologies and current social services provided in BiH
• Expertise and experience in child rights, human rights, gender equality, social inclusion
• Experience in writing legal documents, recommendations, reports
• Experience in organizing and conducting focus groups, trainings and discussions
• Excellence in English language, written and oral
• Strong communication skills and readiness to work in team
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Driving licence B category
