Senior Network Engineer (m/f)

Location: Banja Luka

Job summary:

This individual will be part of a team responsible for design, installation and maintenance of all network and system infrastructure related to the global enterprise. Applicants must have experience with the latest architectural network design concepts, in-depth network routing and switching, implementation and troubleshooting. A deep understanding and insight to industry technologies, evolutions, pitfalls and trends is also a must.

Qualities that make great candidates:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
Network design and researching the latest concepts/vendors
Proposing improvements where applicable
Installing, configuring, maintaining and upgrading network devices (routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls)
Monitoring all local and wide area voice and data systems dedicated to supporting our business
Documenting network topologies/installation
5+ years of experience in network engineering technologies
In depth knowledge of network systems and standards
Network security systems (Firewalls, ACL’s)
Local and Wide Area Networks
Possession of Cisco certificates is an advantage (CCNA, CCNP, etc…)
Protocols (BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, IPSEC,MPLS,SIP,H323…)
Firewall Concept (Cisco ASA Series)
Network monitoring concepts (SNMP and Syslog Monitoring)
VPN technologies and encryption methods
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
