Mechanical Design Engineer (Konstruktor) (m/f) / Mašinski inžinjer (m/ž)

We are looking for an ambitious person with relevant mechanical experience to join our mechanical design team. Do you want to take a key role in the development of marine products?

Responsibilities:

• Perform 3D design and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks
• Perform strength analysis using SolidWorks Simulation and analytical calculations using PTC Mathcad
• Produce technical documentation, report engineering calculations and analysis work for 3rd party verification
• Manage your work to meet performance, schedule and budget targets
• Investigate new solutions to improve performance, reliability or manufacturability
• Assembly and testing of products and prototype systems in one of our factories in Europe
• Support pilot installations in the field (Europe and Asia)

Skills and qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience from developing mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
• Having worked with harsh environments such as offshore, mining or other challenging sectors is a plus.
• Broad technical knowledge and genuine interest in the different aspects of machinery and mechanical design.
• Knowledge of materials, hydraulic systems and structural optimization is qualifying.
• Experience of driving projects through planning, designing, manufacturing and deploying industrial equipment.

B.Sc or a M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering or related disciplines, but your personality, experience, passion and interest in the field is the most important.

Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
